In the Silence of His Presence

In the silence of His presence,
In a place of simple grace,
In the silence of His presence,
He is my Hiding Place.

His arms they under-gird me
And point me toward the sky.
His voice speaks to my spirit
And teaches me to fly.

His love is ever faithful
And carries me along.
In the silence of His presence,
On my heart He writes His song.

Life’s journey keeps unfolding,
The road grows narrower still.
My Jesus loves to hold me
And chase away the chill.

He’s unlike any other,
On Him I can depend.
He never will forsake me,
My ever faithful friend.

His Word is truth and life;
It regenerates my soul.
He is my Blessed Dayspring
Who’s come to make me whole.

In the silence of His presence,
In a place of simple grace,
When I come into His presence,
I’ll look into His face.
