A Force Called Joy (continued #8)

This is a message from a Pastor on Long Island, N.Y.                                                                   An audio version of it may be found here: http://lovesongchristianchurch.com/Multimedia_Teachings/Pastor%20Gaspar%20Anastasi%20-%20A%20Force%20Called%20Joy%20-%20Part%203.mp3

Now you might not be suffering, you know, total financial devastation. You might be just under the attack where he’s stealing and trying to kill you… he hasn’t destroyed you yet. And what he’s doing, throwing all of these financial troubles… all of these financial circumstances in the spiritual realm in the way that God sees life. And I think it’s important to see it the way He Sees it, since He Has the bigger picture: since He Has the higher View of everything.
The devil is come to steal your Joy. If he steals your Joy then he can steal your Faith in God as your Provider. You know? Do you hear what I’m saying? If all of these backdrops of your life, or , you know, the stock market went down… and the bank account’s interest is no longer… CD’s only 2%, whatever it is, and, this is not doing well, and that… there… he’s stealing… in essence… he’s coming to steal your Joy! Because once he takes away this (3x) wall around your Faith, this protection around your Faith… then you lose confidence in God supplying all of your needs! And then when you start losing Faith in God, then the first thing you do is you stop tithing… which is the very avenue for God to open up the windows of heaven: and then you stop moving in giving offerings… you see? But it didn’t start with that… it started with your Joy being depleted. Amen? How many of you understand that ? You can see that, at least from the spiritual standpoint?
Now, you gotta clip your mind over here. You see in the physical/natural realm we see it a little different. But we’re talking about God. Did you ever go up in an airplane and look down just before you’re landing? You see everything. You see Kennedy Airport, you see the cars, you see the highway, you see, you know, the Throgs Neck Bridge, The Whitestone Bridge… You see it all! You have a different vantage point. God Has a different Vantage Point in Life! He Sees things different! The devil, in making you think it’s just the physical things he’s after, but in essence, he’s after the Spiritual forces that make you a success in Life: or could make you a success! And when these, financial problems come… is in essence, originally to steal your Joy… your outlook in Life… the brightness of your future… so that your Faith will then dissipate in your God supplying all of your needs according to His Riches in Glory.
So we see that financial pressure can, if we allow it, can be a Joy stealer. Unforgiveness, anger, broken relationships, and finances. These are major things that the devil will use to steal your Joy. So when these things are happening to you, instead of just getting into the physical realm, you want to be alerted in your Spirit. The trumpet sounds… it blows in your heart… and The Lord Says “Don’t just stay in one plane… get into the Spirit realm… the devil’s after your Joy! So you got to get into more Joy!” Now, how do I get myself filled with Joy? I know that you’ve been wanting to know that, right? That’s the question you’ve been having in your heart. Let’s take a look, first of all, at Psalm 16. We’re going to talk about how to get filled with Joy, and how to have Joy protectors. Psalm 16. Psalm 16. See, we can’t take the subject of Joy lightly. “It’s just well, The Joy Of The Lord: ha ha ha, laugh laugh laugh. Big smile. Yeah, that’s cool.” No, we’re talking about a powerful Force that Gives you a Supernatural Ability to have resilience in Life! When the wind blows, you don’t snap and break. When the trials come, you stand! And you’re able to see beyond the trials and see that God Is still Sitting on The Throne, and He Wants to Bless you, and will. It’s a powerful Force that will keep your body in health… because It will actually nourish your bones: your, the marrow of your bones are being prosperous, and therefore… The Life Is In The Blood, and your whole body begins to prosper.

A Force Called Joy (continued #7)

This is a message from a Pastor on Long Island, N.Y.                                                                   An audio version of it may be found here:  http://lovesongchristianchurch.com/Multimedia_Teachings/Pastor%20Gaspar%20Anastasi%20-%20A%20Force%20Called%20Joy%20-%20Part%202.mp3

I’ll give you an example of this… I had an opportunity in just in the last couple of weeks… where a person who is very close to me who’s not in this church, but he’s a minister the gospel, had written me a letter. And in that letter, it wasn’t very clear what he was saying, but the intent of the letter seemed like he was very upset with me and, and he had a lot of aught against me, and this and that and this and that and the other thing, and I was like really, really, at first I almost allowed it to steal my joy! Because, you know, it wasn’t really clear what it was saying… but the devil tried to make all these things come out! And I said, “Well… did I do this, did I do that”, you know, and then I started, “Well… he has no right to do that…” and then, before you know it, I had this whole thing… and it was beginning to steal my Joy. And The Lord Says… “Hey… wait a minute. The most important thing in here, whether you can agree or not agree on any issue, is that you stay in fellowship with that individual. And I made a decision just at that instant, in that second, and I made this decision, I said “Lord, no matter what… I will not allow anything to come in between my fellowship and relationship with that person no matter what.” And I went into a meeting with that individual with that whole attitude… and I had The Joy Of The Lord. There was no fear: there was no self-condemnation, there was no, you know, fear of a broken relationship. I went in with Joy because, no matter what you did… I’m staying in a relationship with you. I want you to know something, that meeting went so well… all the things that I thought he was saying was not what he was saying. All the things that he thought he was saying was not the things that he was saying… God Was in the midst of us, not the devil. And the relationship was not only restored, (because it wasn’t broken)… it got better! The point is that I didn’t allow the devil to steal that Joy. I refused!! I said “No matter what, I’m looking at that person through The Eyes Of Jesus. And I know that beyond what it looks like, You Have everything under control, Lord.” And so therefore, my heart was girded up… and I came into that meeting with a Strength… and an Energy… and a resilience that allowed me to walk by Faith. And because I walked by Faith, I overcame the devil.
It’s in the minor Prophets… past Daniel… right after Hosea… and right before Amos. I know that helps a lot. Joel Chapter 1. Another major Joy thief is, you know, lack of finances. How many of you would agree with that.. that that can really steal your Joy. You know it does, right? Or it could, let’s put it this way. And here’s what happened in Joel’s day… in Chapter 1 verse 10. Speaking about all this negative aspect, you know, this poverty, that came upon him. “The field is wasted. The land mourneth for the corn is wasted. The new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth.” O k, so you see that everything, you know, was being depleted. Taxes were raised… you know, the healthcare came upon you and it was going to sap all your energy. You know, same thing… just different… you know, they were farmers, and here we are in business aspect. “Be ye ashamed, oh ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished. The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.” Sons of men… the Joy! When the Joy came, then the poverty windows were opened, and all hell… hell broke out. All hell broke out. You see, not only did it steal the Joy… but when the Joy was totally dissipated… then poverty was able to come upon this nation. Look how important Joy is in life, even in our financial condition.

A Force Called Joy (continued #6)

This is a message from a Pastor on Long Island, N.Y.                                                                   An audio version of it may be found here:  http://lovesongchristianchurch.com/Multimedia_Teachings/Pastor%20Gaspar%20Anastasi%20-%20A%20Force%20Called%20Joy%20-%20Part%202.mp3

So, not only do we get the Supernatural Strength… that just comes inside… this exhilaration of God’s Life!! And as you have this exhilaration of God’s Life, looking at the circumstances and seeing beyond that… seeing that God Is still Sitting on the throne… that He Is still your God, and you’re His Child, that He’s still going to Bless you, there’s a Strength that comes in. As you stand in this Joy and not allow the joy thieves to steal… you find your, you know, physical body being healthy. Less pains, less anguish, less confusion, less depression… This Joy is a Supernatural force of God. Now these are some of the Joy thieves (I’ll just mention them to you… we don’t have time to go into them)… but unforgiveness is a Joy thief… if you continue to walk in unforgiveness, it will steal your Joy. Anger is a Joy thief, and that’s why, you know, anger comes from hurt. That’s why, immediately when you get hurt, you need to go to God… and not to vent the anger. Now the world says, “It’s okay, here’s a punching bag… vent your anger. Kick this bag, you know, and if the bag isn’t there… kick your wife. It’s ok… it’s ok, you vented your anger.” Now you can see the result of that now in our society, that there are more, you know, woman abuses, and more, ah, violence, and more just physical violence in life, because that’s the way we’ve been taught. But God Says, “You have a hurt, don’t vent your anger… go to Him and get the healing.” Because when the anger comes, it’s a poison that comes within your system, and it’ll steal Joy! It’ll dry up the very marrow in your bones! There’s something you can do! Go to GOD… you can do it! You can’t say it’s impossible… It’s possible! GOD Said it‘s possible. He Gave you the Holy Spirit. Go to God!! And, if there is any anger, make sure you do get rid of it immediately, because, if you continue in the anger, then the anger will lead to unforgiveness. That’s the cycle… you get hurt… you don’t deal with the hurt… then the anger comes… you stew in the anger, and before you know you have unforgiveness: and if you don’t get rid of the unforgiveness, than you get what they call a root of bitterness… and then it begins to bear forth the fruit. In the meantime, it’s just rotting your bones. It’s drying up the very marrow of you bones. It stole your Joy…
Broken relationships… allowing people to disappoint you. You know, you expected Jimmy Swaggart to be a certain kind of man… and he fell. He’s only a man. But because that happened, you, you got yourself all up in a tither, and now, you allowed that relationship… you allowed that particular disappointment in that person to affect you, and that steals your Joy. Your wife or your husband doesn’t do exactly what you wanted them to do, or what they said they would do. And so you allow that to steal your Joy. You see, broken relationships will eventually cause this hurt and anger and unforgiveness. But you must choose. You must choose.

And God Has Come to Give you this Supernatural Strength, to be able look at the adversity and see behind it. You know, it’s like, you know, it’s like going outside today and seeing all this rain. You know, we, we actually, you know utilize this principle in the natural realm. We know that the sun is going to come out sooner or later. Because if we didn’t everybody would just robe themselves with raincoats and umbrellas, and that’s all they would ever wear. Because “if it’s going to rain today, it’s going to rain every day. We might as well just take galoshes and raincoats and umbrellas and and, you know, and that’s the way it is! That life is going to be filled with rain!”
No! We know the sun’s going to come out soon! You do know that, don’t you? Well… in Faith, when you have that Joy come into your heart, you looked at the circumstances, and this Joy says “It’s alright! God’s going to fill your bank account just keep walking in Faith, give your tithes and offerings, and He’ll Pour you out a Blessing.” Joy says, “Don’t worry about this marital situation. You keep going on and being the head of your house, and laying down your life for your wife.” and “Wife, keeping submissive to your husband, and having that meekness in your Spirit, no matter what it looks like… you see behind that… there’s going to be a great relationship.” Joy keeps you to see the truth… and that Truth will set you free. It’ll keep you on a way of Living In Faith. Do you see that? Do you understand how important it is? That this Joy will protect our Faith? It’s a Supernatural Strength.
Proverbs 17 Proverbs 17 You know, we’ve built up over the years in our churches… about Faith, we’ve spoken about Faith, we’ve spoken about Love… but we really haven’t keyed in on this force of Joy in the way that God Wants us to see it. It’s important!!! If you’re always down and under every time satan paints a picture through the natural circumstances of your life, then you’re not operating in the Supernatural power of joy, you’re missing something. Why should you miss it when God Has Made it available to you? Proverbs 17 verse 22, it says “A merry heart doeth good… like a medicine… but a broken spirit drieth the bones.” Now here is another wonderful fact of walking in The Joy Of The Lord. It will actually cause your life to represent and reflect God’s help. You know this to be true if you have depression all the time… discouragement and fear and hopelessness… your body in itself begins to break down. You have mind problems… you lose your memory… your body begins to pain and ache… You see your physical natural body, as well as your Spirit, Were Created by The Love Thoughts Of God: and when you’re trusting and resting in God, then your body will function properly. But if… if this Joy is taken, it says that the very marrow of your bones will dry up. The life of the human body is in the blood and the blood is made up in the marrow. It’s in the marrow that the blood becomes healthy and so if this Joy is taken out of your inner being, than the very marrow of the bones begins the dry up, and there goes your health! Oh, the devil doesn’t want you to see this. He wants to look at the circumstance, he wants to steal your Joy, he wants discouragement to come in. He wants the fears to come in. He wants to have you look at the circumstances and believe that’s the way it’s going to be. And he’s sapping your Life. He’s come to steal, kill, and destroy. He doesn’t do it overnight! He does it one step at a time, and the first thing that he attacks is your Joy. Notice ‘a merry heart’ is speaking about your Spirit. It’s filled with Joy. ‘Feels good like a medicine, but a broken spirit drieth the bones.’ (speaking of the marrow of the bones)

A Force Called Joy (continued #4)

This is a message from a Pastor on Long Island, N.Y.                                                                   An audio version of it may be found here:  http://lovesongchristianchurch.com/Multimedia_Teachings/Pastor%20Gaspar%20Anastasi%20-%20A%20Force%20Called%20Joy%20-%20Part%202.mp3

He says here “… neither ye be sorry for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Even though you have an opportunity be sorry… you know, sometimes you’re in a situation and you say “I shouldn’t be happy in this, I shouldn’t be ecstatic in this, I shouldn’t be, you know, filled with this Joy… ” and you almost feel guilty about it because, you know, things aren’t going good. You know, your bank accounts down, you know, your family problems are, uh, rising up, but deep down inside is a joy you almost can, like I said, pinch yourself, but you feel a little guilty about it. “I should feel sorry about this situation.” Well that’s the natural mind who is subject to the natural things. No, don’t be sorry!…. because The Lord, your God, Has Poured out this Supernatural ability. It’s not from you. You couldn’t generate it; if you could, you wouldn’t need Jesus! It’s an ability (3x) that God Gives you and he pours it out in your Spirit. He wants you to have more of it. And so, we see that this Joy will give you a powerful strength: it’s like the fuel to a rocket. Nice to have the rocket but if you don’t have any fuel, it’s not going to get you off on the way to hit your target. It’s nice to have Faith, but if I don’t have this Joy to continue to keep my Faith on target, then that Faith is going to dissipate. It’s never going to hit the target. And too many of us have not realized this, and too many of us have not recognized how Satan has come to steal this Joy. We haven’t recognized it. Most of the circumstances that you see, most of the depression that comes through people saying things, or you know, just the backdrops of life that are painted behind you… these are Joy thieves. And they’re always trying to steal your Joy! Once they got your Joy, then your Faith is subject to be under attack, and it will be dissipated. And without Faith… then the devil does have you.
Hebrews chapter 10. Let’s look at this one. Hebrews chapter 10. Verse 38… I’m going to just take this one particular Scripture here… verse 38… “Now the just shall live by Faith”… ‘the just’ meaning you and I who have been declared to be in right standing with God. Just means Justified. Just if I’d never sinned. It means to be Declared righteous… that’s what the word means. Now, you and I have Been Given the Gift of righteousness (right standing with God), not because we’ve earned it, or because we feel like we have it, because it’s Been Given to us as a Gift. So since we do have this right standing with God… “Now the just shall Live by Faith! But if any man draw back, My Soul shall have no pleasure in him.” So if I draw back from my Faith (walking in Faith), then God can no longer have pleasure in me. It doesn’t mean that He Throws me away, you see… He Gets pleasure when He Can Bless you. Do you understand that? He Gets Excited when He Can Pour Out Blessings upon you. And the only way that He can pour out Blessings upon you, is if you’re walking by Faith. Because Faith receives from God. Faith is that (3x) conveyor belt that goes into heaven and brings all the heavenly blessings here on this Earth into the physical natural realm. And when we’re walking by Faith, God Has great Pleasure in us because He Is Blessing us. He Loves To Bless us!!! You see… His goal is to Bless us!! That’s why He Gave Jesus to die in the cross! He Didn’t Send Jesus, His only Begotten Son so He could persecute us. Does that make sense?! No!! He Sent Jesus to Bless us!! He Gets Excited when you get Blessed! He Gets Excited when heaven opens and pours you out Blessing that you cannot contain, that it overflows… He Gets Excited! But The Bible says here that if any man draw back… in other words if I draw back from operating in Faith, then God can no longer have pleasure in me. He can no longer be able to get excited about me because there’s no Blessings that He’s Able to pour out. And what will cause me to draw back? The lack of Joy… that’s what caused me to draw back. The lack of, you know, seeing things the way God Sees it!
You can tell that this happens to a lot of Christians… maybe it happens to you, because when things are going right, you read The Word, you go to church, you know, you’re talking about God, you’re making confessions to other people about God and your lifestyle… but as soon as things get bad… as soon as things look bad… as soon as things in the wind seem to be bad… right away you don’t go to church as much, right away don’t read The Bible as much, right away you stop talking about God, because The Joy Of The Lord has been stolen from you by circumstances, and therefore you’re not walking the good fight of Faith! You’re not in that Faith. He’s stolen from you. It starts with Joy!!

A Force Called Joy (continued #3)

This is a message from a Pastor on Long Island, N.Y.                                                                   An audio version of it may be found here:  http://lovesongchristianchurch.com/Multimedia_Teachings/Pastor%20Gaspar%20Anastasi%20-%20A%20Force%20Called%20Joy%20-%20Part%201.mp3

Nehemiah Chapter eight right before the book of Esther, which is right before the book of Job, we look at that Nehemiah Chapter 8… and we’ll look at verse 10. We see this, the asset of joy. We see the… the a… benefits of this Supernatural joy. We’re not just talking about the normal joy okay, it’s almost like it, but the only thing with a… the difference between the normal joy, the natural joy is that the natural joy, the normal joy… the everyday kind of joy that we get, is up-and-down and in-and-out, and it’s definitely delegated by what you see… by what how you feel. If it looks good, everything is fine… if it doesn’t… it’s not. You know, if everything is going right in your life, you can really be filled with this joy, this gladness, this happiness, this great outlook on life. Now when that ends, God comes in with this Supernatural force that will pick you up and strengthen you. It becomes a Supernatural Strength. In fact, when you’re walking in this Joy Of The Lord… when things are going bad and you’re just having that this gladness in your heart because it’s Supernatural and you begin to see what God Sees… that this circumstances is only temporal and as I stand on Faith, my Faith is going to change that thing and so I’m happy! You almost have to pinch yourself to see if you’re alive. You say to yourself, “Why am I happy? Look, everything’s falling apart. Did I die and go to heaven?” You know… “Is it real? How come I’m not concerned… How come I’m not worried? How come I’m not frustrated, How come I’m not angry? So and so just stepped on my shoes. You know, how come I’m not upset? The bank just called and said a… you know, your overdrawn in your account… How come? Let me pinch myself… am I alive?”
This is a Supernatural power of God that comes and rises up and keeps you in an optimistic point of view. It keeps you up, it keeps you bright, it keeps you seeing what God Sees. And in doing that you can continue to walk in Faith. So the devil’s come to steal your Joy. Notice this in Nehemiah Chapter 8 verse 10… “Then he said unto them: Go ye, go your way. Eat the fat and drink the sweet and send portions onto them for whom nothing is prepared for this day is holy unto our Lord. Neither be ye sorry, for the joy of The Lord is your strength.” Now, we’re talking about The Joy Of The Lord now, we’re not talking about your joy. Again, your joy comes and goes. It, you know, it’s up-and-down… it’s just wavering and it depends on circumstances and so if all you have is your natural joy, then you’re going to be in trouble! And wherever there isn’t joy, then there is sorrow and despair and hopelessness, and that’s the force that the devil wants the place in your life. Despair, and discouragement, and depression… that’s what he wants the force you into! And he’ll do that by painting in the backdrop of your life circumstances, and situations that look horrible!! That make you feel terrible… and as that force of negativity comes into your life… as you allow it to come in… the very thing it steals is your Faith! Then, you begin to doubt and say “Ahhh… maybe God can’t do it.” And you begin to be concerned and fear, and say “Maybe God doesn’t love me like he Loves the person next to me.” Then you begin to have a double-mindedness. And the Bible says of the double-minded (about that person) is unstable in all his ways and you’ll never be able to receive anything from The Lord. But there is this power called Joy that will gird your heart up, and will give you the Supernatural ability to look beyond your circumstances… even though you’re in the middle of a horrible situation! And you’ll be able to smile, and be able to rejoice, and be able to praise God because something on the inside of you Says “It’s going to be okay.” And you say to yourself “I don’t understand that!” You don’t have to understand. It’s a Supernatural force of God! God Has Supplied it! It will protect your Faith! Joy is important!!

A Force Called Joy (continued #2)

This is a message from a Pastor on Long Island, N.Y.                                                                   An audio version of it may be found here:  http://lovesongchristianchurch.com/Multimedia_Teachings/Pastor%20Gaspar%20Anastasi%20-%20A%20Force%20Called%20Joy%20-%20Part%201.mp3

So Faith is very important! It’s the most important thing that we can have. It’s an important force but God is given us a supportive force called joy. It’s a Supernatural power of God that will keep us in an optimistic point of view it in no matter what our life is in. It’s a force that will keep us seeing the good, and getting beyond the negatives. It’s a force that kind of builds a, an encasement around Faith. As long as our, you know, emotions are up… as long as our attitudes are riding high… as long as our, you know, our future is optimistic, then it is a whole lot easier Believing and trusting in God. And if I try to depend upon my own NATURAL happiness and joy, that’s going to fail me, because I’m, ah, you know, I’m so subject to the circumstances of life, and when it’s raining out I’m depressed… when it’s sunny out I’m happy… when I have a lot of money in the bank I can trust GOD a whole lot more… when my finances are depleted I really have a lot of fear. So God understands that I need something more than just a natural joy… that I need a Supernatural Joy, so that I can always see the bright side of life. Joy is important because as I look at life through the eyes of God… as a see the bright side of life… as they see the really True picture that these things that are negative in my life, they’re temporal. But there is always a Blessing that’s on its way. As I see that, I’m able to stand in Faith. As I understand that in my heart, I’m able to go through those mountains through my Faith until, you know, the devil does want to steal your joy. He doesn’t want you to get into the supernatural power of that. He wants you just to get into your normal, you know, everyday natural joy which is subject to circumstances; which is subject to what you see and how you feel.
Now go back to St. John 1010 for a moment, I’ll just read the Scripture one more time and then we’ll move on to another scripture. It says here “the thief cometh not”  in other words his main purpose is to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. That’s what he’s come (for). Now he can’t do that all at once. His bottom line is the steal your Faith, your trust and belief in absolute leaning on God in any circumstances, whether it be your finances, whether it be your relationships, whether it be just your every day existence… he wants the steal that. Once he has that then he’s got you to do whatever he wants you to do. It’s our Faith that stands between the devil… it’s our Faith that makes us overcome him. And so God Understands that we need to have a very optimistic attitude in life and He knows that we need to see the Truth of Life through His eyes. And that truth is a bright Truth. It’s a… it’s an upper… it’s a… positive thing. God has nothing but positive things for us and when His Joy comes inside of us, we look beyond the natural physical things, and we see the way it really is. We see it the way that God Sees it, and that brings a…a very temperament inside of us that protects our Faith. Without that our Faith is subject to be depleted by the devil. Joy is a very important force that we need to, not only recognize, but we need to fill ourselves up with It on a daily basis.

A Force Called Joy (continued #1)

This is a message from a Pastor on Long Island, N.Y.                                                                 An audio version of it may be found here:  http://lovesongchristianchurch.com/Multimedia_Teachings/Pastor%20Gaspar%20Anastasi%20-%20A%20Force%20Called%20Joy%20-%20Part%201.mp3

Now, I want to talk about the devil for a moment. He’s come to steal, to kill, and to destroy. He doesn’t do it all at once; I mean, ultimately he wants to take you to hell. But he doesn’t do it all at once. He doesn’t do it in a second, he does it in a progressive way. Now The Bible also tells us in other Scriptures that it’s our Faith that literally overcomes the devil. And so the only way the devil can get to us and to really consume us and to really have us in his back pocket is if he steals our Faith. In essence, he’s really after our Faith because it’s our Faith in God that makes us more than conquerors. It’s our Faith in God that gives is that Ability to walk as Christ walked on this earth. Our Faith is very important! In fact, it’s the only thing that stands between us and the devil. Once he has our Faith, he automatically has us. And so, in any area of your life where you’re lacking Faith, the devil is progressively stealing and killing, and eventually would destroy you. And that’s why it’s important to read The Bible. That’s why it’s important to always build that foundation of Faith in our heart.
But there is another very important force. Just as Faith is a force, and it stands between us and the devil, (that enemy who’s come to steal, kill, and destroy), there is another very important force that actually kind of protects our faith. It’s a force that, in essence, the devil will try to steal first. If he gets this first, then the next thing to fall will be Faith. You see, ultimately, he’s after your Faith. But God has kind of built ‘layers’ around our Faith. He’s Given us these other forces that work together in harmony to bring a protection around that Faith, so that we can continue to do The Will Of God: that we can to continue to stand against the pressures of the devil; that we can continue to overcome. And so the devil doesn’t exactly go right to the Faith, he has the break through these other barriers. These are important barriers that support Faith; that kind of encases it within our lives; that that kind of protect It so that we can continue to Believe and trust God is this force called Joy. Joy is an important powerful force! It’s not just getting giddy and laughing and, you know, having big smiles on your face. I mean, in a worldly sense, joy is expressed that way. But this is a Force Of God that keeps you in an optimistic look in life. It keeps you in a point of being up, no matter what it looks like in your circumstances. It’s a Powerful Force that literally surrounds your Faith… that protects your Faith from being dissipated by circumstances. Once the veil of Joy is torn down, then the devil has a greater access to stealing your Faith. That’s what he’s literally after; remember… Faith is what overcomes the devil.
Let’s take a quick look at that Scripture in first John so you see it yourself. First John… and we’ll look quickly at Chapter 5 here and the verses four and five. First John, Chapter 5, verses 4 and 5. “Yes the devil is after Faith.” Yeah, ultimately he’s your enemy, and he wants to come against you, but he really can’t get you until he gets your Faith. Once he gets your Faith, he’s got you. Your Faith is your belief and trust. An absolute trusting and leaning on God, for every circumstance. Once he takes that (or steals that), he’s got you. And so God Has Placed a force around us called Joy, that actually Keeps us in an optimistic point of view on a daily basis, so that we can continue to walk in Faith. Here in verse five chapter 5 verse four and five first John… “for whatsoever is born of God”, in other words the Born-Again child of God, “overcometh the world. And this is the victory that overcometh the world”, (and here is the key verses), “even our Faith.” The key words… “even our Faith’. So it’s our Faith that overcomes the world. It’s our Faith that overcomes satan. It’s our Faith that overcomes and separates us from all of his tactics, and his designs for our lives.

A Force Called Joy

This is a message from a Pastor on Long Island, N.Y.                                                                   An audio version of it may be found here: http://lovesongchristianchurch.com/Multimedia_Teachings/Pastor%20Gaspar%20Anastasi%20-%20A%20Force%20Called%20Joy%20-%20Part%201.mp3

The Book of St. John. St. John chapter 10.
I am going to start off with a very familiar scripture and just make some points here. Just as a reminder, there really isn’t anything new under the sun. Everything that has to be said has already been said, it’s just a matter now of repeating it, and getting it into our spirits in a revelation form where it becomes part of our lives where we really KNOW that we know that we know, that we know (that it is The Truth). The Bible is written to the Spirit man. God is speaking to your spirit. He’s not writing to the physical man, he is writing to the inward man, not the outward man. We need to learn to listen with our heart, our spirit man as we read the Bible and we hear the Gospel being preached because it’ll bring Life to us. It will cause us to be successful. God has Created us to be more than conquerors here on this Earth. And He Has equipped us with a Born-Again Spirit to succeed. But our Born-Again Spirit needs to be trained and it needs to be disciplined, and it needs to be mature and as we read the Word of God that’s what happens. And as we get that Word into our spirit, then we can live out from our spirit and be successful no matter what we do, no matter where we go, here on this Earth. God Has planned for success in your life. If there is any failure it’s not because God is in it. God is on the side of success and prosperity. If there’s any failure in our life, it’s because we’re missing the Truth. We haven’t truly grasped the very nature of His Word in our spirit.
St. John 10:10 it says this, “The thief cometh not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy. I Am Come that they might have Life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” The first thing that I want to bring to your attention in case you don’t already know, there are two major forces working here on this planet Earth. One of them is called the thief, and he’s come to steal, he’s come to kill, and he’s come to destroy. He doesn’t have anything good for us, and he doesn’t want to see us accomplish anything good. He wants to kill us; bottom line… he wants to destroy us. But there’s another Force… and that is of course, God. And He’s Come to give us Life, and to Give it to us more abundantly. We better be very careful that we never mix up those two forces and make them one. There are some people that believe that God is responsible for the good AND the bad. There’s some people that believe that, you know, the devil really is not out there that’s just a figment of your imagination and there really isn’t a devil, and that God is responsible for everything. That’s not true. Maybe in our religious natural mind we think that way, but here we have the Word of God telling us very clearly, you know, what these two forces are, and what their intentions are in our lives.
The devil’s come to kill you. The devil’s come to steal, he’s come to destroy. Jesus (God) Has Come to Give you Life and to Give it to you more abundantly, so never ever get those two mixed up. When something bad is happening in your life, never blame God; that’s exactly what the devil would like you to do. He’d like to be in the backdrop and you not ever seeing him and always pointing to God. And if you blame God for the good and, you know, you give Him the responsibility for the bad as well, you’re never going to be able to build a trust factor in Him. There’s always going to be that doubt in the back of your mind, you know, whether God’s going to Give you the good today or the bad. You got to get it settled in your spirit once and for all, that God is always good. He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. He’s always responsible for healing, not sickness He’s always responsible for deliverance, not bondage. He’s always responsible for prosperity, not poverty. He’s always responsible for restoring relationships, not tearing them down, so whenever you receive in the contrary to that you must know, once and for all, that it is the devil.

GOD Talk # 20 (of 20)

GOD Talk # 20
by Reverend Robert Bart
Born Again – Part 4
After we become “Born Again”, we enter into “the kingdom of Heaven”
(or The Kingdom Of GOD), and allow our lives to become an extension of
GOD’s Will. We unite our spirit with The SPIRIT Of GOD, and purpose to
be His Voice, Hands, and Heart in the world. We reach out to those in need
of The Peace, The Hope, and The Joy that only GOD Can Provide. We
extend The Invitation (in The Name Of GOD) to have their sins Forgiven
and invite them to enter into The Kingdom, which is described as
“righteousness and peace and joy in The Holy Spirit.” (Rom 14: 17b) We
endeavor to show people that they are in need of repentance so that they can
be Forgiven, Sanctified, and made Holy by GOD’s Grace.
He Will Help us to replace our thoughts with His Thoughts and our actions
with The Path that He Has Set before us. (Isa 55: 9; Ps 37: 23a) He
Strengthens us By His SPIRIT so that we can fulfill our eternal destiny as
His Children, and He Leads us into Paradise. (Rom 7: 15-25) He Gives us
Peace in a world that has denied and forsaken Him, and Joy in the midst of
our afflictions. He Abundantly Blesses us with everything that we need.
By continuing to put our Faith in Him, we overcome all our trials. A
multitude of people, too numerous for anyone to count, will thank and praise
GOD for His Merciful Salvation and Glory, when He Sets Up His Kingdom
on the Earth. (Rev 7: 9-12) At that time, The Plan Of GOD Will Have Been
Realized on the Earth. His Desire for all His Created beings Will Have
Come to those who would Believe.
The greatest hindrance to our Salvation is an “I’ll do it my way” attitude. It
is a spirit of arrogance, lust, and pride, which blocks GOD’s SPIRIT from
Allowing us to obtain His Blessings. There is only One Way to win the
victory over sin, and that’s with GOD’s Help. He Alone Can Empower us
to overcome the forces which would separate us from The Holy and Perfect
Redemption which He Has Provided for us by the Atoning Life Of His Son.
JESUS Said: “I Am The Way, The Truth, and The Life. No man comes to
The FATHER except through Me.” (Jn 14: 6) “But the Helper,
the HOLY SPIRIT, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach
you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”
(Jn 14: 26)
We are in a Holy War. The religions of the world are in mortal combat.
GOD Will Enable us to win this war as we allow His SPIRIT to Have
Communion with our spirit; Empowering us to turn away from the thoughts,
lusts, and covetousness that the fallen angels and our flesh would constrain
upon us. In many cases, we do not have the wisdom to understand the results
of our decisions. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the
way of death.” (Pr 14: 12) Solomon is referring to spiritual death here, which
is separation from The Living GOD. Conversely, though, when we truly
appreciate The Gifts that GOD Has Given to us, our desire is to please and
obey Him… for we realize that His Way Is Love, Mercy Joy, Peace, etc.
Consequently, as His Spiritual Children, we will forever become more and
more like His Son (and our Spiritual Brother) JESUS, and Live with Them
Eternally in Paradise.
…thanks be to GOD Who Always Leads us in Triumph In Christ, and
through us Diffuses The Fragrance Of His Knowledge in every place.
(2 Cor 2:14)
“Glory To GOD In The Highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
(Lu 2:14)            ☺
