The Glory Of GOD (Part 6)

Isaiah 40:3-5
The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
“Prepare the way of The Lord;
Make straight in the desert
A highway for our GOD.
Every valley shall be exalted
And every mountain and hill brought low;
The crooked places shall be made straight
And the rough places smooth;
The Glory Of The Lord shall be Revealed,
And all flesh shall see it together;
For The Mouth Of The Lord Has Spoken.”

Isaiah 43:6-13
“I Will Say to the north, ‘Give them up!’
And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’
Bring My Sons from afar,
And My Daughters from the ends of the earth—
Everyone who is called by My Name,
Whom I Have Created for My Glory;
I Have Formed him, yes, I Have Made him.”

Bring out the blind people who have eyes,
And the deaf who have ears.
Let all the nations be gathered together,
And let the people be assembled.
Who among them can declare this,
And show us former things?
Let them bring out their witnesses, that they may be justified;
Or let them hear and say, “It is truth.”

“You are My Witnesses,” Says The Lord,
“And My Servant whom I Have Chosen,
That you may know and Believe Me,
And understand that I Am He.
Before Me there was no GOD formed,
Nor shall there be after Me.
I, even I, Am The Lord,
And besides Me there is no Savior.

I Have Declared and Saved,
I Have Proclaimed,
And there was no foreign god among you;
Therefore you are My Witnesses,”
Says The Lord, “that I Am God.
Indeed before the day was, I Am He;
And there is no one who can deliver out of My Hand;
I Work, and who will reverse it?”

The Glory Of GOD (Part 5)

Isaiah 2:12-22
… The Day Of The Lord Of Hosts
Shall come upon everything proud and lofty,
Upon everything lifted up—
And they shall be brought low—
Upon all the cedars of Lebanon that are high and lifted up,
And upon all the oaks of Bashan;
Upon all the high mountains,
And upon all the hills that are lifted up;
Upon every high tower,
And upon every fortified wall;
Upon all the ships of Tarshish,
And upon all the beautiful sloops.
The loftiness of man shall be bowed down,
And the haughtiness of men shall be brought low;
The Lord alone will be exalted in That Day,
But the idols He Shall utterly Abolish.

They shall go into the holes of the rocks,
And into the caves of the earth,
From the terror of The Lord
And The Glory Of His Majesty,
When He Arises to Shake the earth mightily.

In That Day a man will cast away his idols of silver
And his idols of gold,
Which they made, each for himself to worship,
To the moles and bats,
To go into the clefts of the rocks,
And into the crags of the rugged rocks,
From the terror of The Lord
And The Glory Of His Majesty,
When He Arises to Shake the earth mightily.

Sever yourselves from such a man,
Whose breath is in his nostrils;
For of what account is he?

Proverbs 3:33-35
The Curse Of The Lord is on the house of the wicked,
But He Blesses the home of the just.
Surely He Scorns the scornful,

The Glory Of GOD (Part 3)

Psalm 29:1-4,8-9
Give unto The Lord,
O you mighty ones,
Give unto The Lord Glory and Strength.
Give unto The Lord The Glory due to His Name;
Worship The Lord in the beauty of holiness.
The Voice Of The Lord Is over the waters;
The God Of Glory thunders;
The Lord Is Over many waters.
The Voice Of The Lord Is powerful;
The Voice Of The Lord Is full of majesty.
The Voice Of The Lord Shakes the wilderness;
The Lord Shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.
The Voice Of The Lord Makes the deer give birth,
And strips the forests bare;
And in His Temple everyone says, “Glory!”
Psalm 63:1-4
O GOD, You Are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water.
So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,
To see Your Power and Your Glory.
Because Your Lovingkindness Is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your Name.

The Glory Of GOD (Part 2)

2 Chronicles 7:1-3
When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and The Glory Of The Lord Filled the temple. And the priests could not enter the house of The Lord, because The Glory Of The Lord Had Filled The Lord’s House. When all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and The Glory Of The Lord on the temple, they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped and praised The Lord, saying: “For He Is good, for His Mercy Endures forever.”

Psalm 8:1
O Lord, our Lord,
How excellent is Your Name in all the earth,
Who have set Your Glory above the heavens!

Psalm 19:1
The heavens declare The Glory Of GOD;
And the firmament shows His Handiwork.

Psalm 24
The earth is The Lord’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein.
For He Has Founded it upon the seas,
and Established it upon the waters.
Who may ascend into the hill of The Lord?
Or who may stand in His Holy Place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol,
Nor sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive Blessing from The Lord
And Righteousness from the God of his Salvation.
This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him,
Who seek Your Face. Selah

Lift up your heads, O you gates!
And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
And The King Of Glory Shall come in.
Who is this King Of Glory?
The Lord Strong and Mighty,
The Lord Mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O you gates!
Lift up, you everlasting doors!
And The King Of Glory shall come in.
Who is this King Of Glory?
The Lord Of Hosts,
He Is The King Of Glory. Selah

The Glory Of GOD (Part 1)

Exodus 16:10
Now it came to pass, as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, The Glory Of The Lord appeared in the cloud.

Exodus 24:15-17
Then Moses went up into the mountain, and a Cloud covered the mountain. Now The Glory Of The Lord rested on Mount Sinai, and the Cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He Called to Moses out of the midst of the Cloud. The sight of The Glory Of The Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.

Exodus 29:43
There I Will Meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be Sanctified by My Glory.

Exodus 33:21-23
And The Lord Said, “Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock. So it shall be, while My Glory passes by, that I Will Put you in the cleft of the rock, and Will Cover you with My Hand while I Pass by. Then I Will Take Away My Hand, and you shall see My Back; but My Face shall not be seen.”

Exodus 40:34-38
Then the Cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and The Glory Of The Lord filled the tabernacle. And Moses was not able to enter the tabernacle of meeting, because the Cloud rested above it, and The Glory Of The Lord filled the tabernacle. Whenever the Cloud Was Taken up from above the tabernacle, the children of Israel would go onward in all their journeys. But if the Cloud Was Not Taken up, then they did not journey till the day that it Was Taken up. For The Cloud Of The Lord Was above the tabernacle by day, and fire was over it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

1 Chronicles 29:11
Yours, O Lord, Is The Greatness,
The Power and The Glory,
The Victory and The Majesty;
For all that is in heaven and in earth Is Yours;
Yours Is The Kingdom, O Lord,
And You are exalted as Head over all.

Meaning and Lessons From The Disciple’s Prayer (The Lord’s Prayer) Part 2 of 2

May 13, 2014 by Jack Wellman

We have the great privilege to pray directly to God the Father because of our Great High Priest and Intercessor, in Jesus Christ’s name in whose name we should always pray because God listens to the prayers of the saints because of Jesus’ access to the throne room of heaven.
We are to ask for our daily bread in the sense of the Word of God being our daily bread for Jesus told Satan that “Man should not live by bread alone but by every word that precedes out of the mouth of God” (Matt 4:4). This means that we should be in His Word daily, feeding on the Bread of Life. Christian’s who only open their Bible in church are spiritually starving the rest of the week.
This could also be seen as asking God for our daily sustenance or our daily allotment of food, shelter and clothing. There is nothing wrong with praying for our daily needs but Jesus did not say to pray for tomorrow’s bread but only for today’s because He said “Give us each day our daily bread.” Nothing is said about tomorrow’s bread. Just like the manna that came down from heaven each day, any manna kept for the next day became maggot infested so God will give us just enough for each and every day and we are commanded to not worry about tomorrow (Matt 6:34).
Luke 11:4a and forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us.”
God is not going to answer our prayers if we have unconfessed sin or if we have something against someone. We owed a debt we could not pay but He paid a debt He did not owe so that we might have access to God. If you haven’t forgiven someone, then go to that person and first ask to be forgiven and then come back to God to pray for your own needs or the needs of others.
Luke 11:4b “And lead us not into temptation.”
Jesus is not telling us to ask God to not lead us into temptation because God tempts no one (James 1:13). The Greek word for temptation is actually “peirasmos” which literally means “a trial, proving, or testing.” So Luke 11:4b is saying “And lead us not into tests or trials” so that we might not fall or fail the test. God does test us or allow us to be tested but “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it” (1 Cor 10:13) so God is not tempting us at any time.
Matthew 6:13 “For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.
Some manuscripts have this ending to the Lord’s Prayer but not all of them do. Even so, I believe it is biblical because we acknowledge that it is God’s kingdom and it is His power and it is for His glory which is forever and ever that we should pray for. Certainly we always ought to pray for God to be glorified because God is worthy to be glorified and honored and praised. We are to fulfill part of God’s purpose in our lives and part of that is to seek to glorify God’s name in all we do, say, and think. When we take credit for things that God has done we rob God of His due glory and God is not happy when we do not give Him the glory and we take if for ourselves. If we do this, He will surely humble us because He is opposed to those that are prideful but He will give you grace if you humble yourself before Him (James 4:6). God speaks through Isaiah the prophet when He says “I am the Lord; that is my name; my glory I give to no other” (Isaiah 42:8).

You can glorify God by becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ, submitting to Him, repenting of your sins, confessing them to God, and then trusting in Jesus Christ. If you do, then you also can pray to your Father Who is in heaven but if He is not your Father, as I wrote earlier, you are of your father the Devil and you will do the things of the Devil (John 8:44-45) and your end will be like his is someday (Rev 20:11-15). Seek His face today, fall down and bend the knee before Him, confess Him as Lord and you too will be a child of God (Rom 10:9-13).

Meaning and Lessons From The Disciple’s Prayer (The Lord’s Prayer) Part 1 of 2

May 13, 2014 by Jack Wellman

In Luke 11 Jesus tells the disciples how to pray. Don’t you want to know how to pray effectively to God? Surely you do. Jesus is teaching them how to pray and so here is how to pray to God as taught by Jesus. The first thing we note in what is commonly called the Lord’s Prayer is how the disciples saw Jesus praying. In Luke 11:1 is says,
“Now Jesus was praying in a certain place, and when he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.”
Here are the disciples who must have seen how passionately Jesus prayed and how He was a man of prayer like no other man ever born. Jesus prayed so frequently that almost every time before or after something important was to occur, He prayed. He is our model in prayer for if the Son of God, Who is God Himself saw the great need to pray, how much more important is it for us? One thing the disciples also said was to “teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.” This John they spoke about must have been John the Baptist who was obviously a man of prayer and apparently the disciples saw John praying and saw that he had taught his own disciples how to pray. Jesus’ disciples wanted this too so that is why they asked Him to teach them to pray just as John’s disciples taught them…but of course Jesus’ lesson would be so much better that John the Baptist’s teaching on prayer was.
Luke 11:2 “And he said to them, “When you pray, say: “Father, hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.”
Jesus says “when you pray” not if you pray, so obviously all Christians must be praying people. When we pray, we must pray “Father” because He is your Father to whom you obey. If you are not a child of God then you are children of the Devil (John 8:44-45). God will not answer the prayers of sinners (John 9:31) but only those who are His (1 John 5:14-15) so if you are born again (John 3:3) then He is your Father. So pray to Him as Father.
Next, you are to honor or hallow His name for His name is Holy. That’s what it means to hallow His name. We should seek to honor, revere, and glorify His name above all things for He is most worthy.
Then we should pray for God’s kingdom to come to the earth because that is God’s purpose fulfilled when the Kingdom of God is established here on earth and then God’s will, already being done in heaven, can be done on earth. Can you imagine the angels not doing whatever God wills? Impossible. God’s will is always done in heaven. We pray for His perfect will to also be done on earth and in particular, in us in our lives.

Luke 11:3 “Give us each day our daily bread.”

A Force Called Joy (continued #10 {of 10})

This is a message from a Pastor on Long Island, N.Y.                                                                   An audio version of it may be found here:

Okay now let’s read the rest of that… “These things have I Spoken unto you…” notice that… notice what it says… “that My Joy might remain in you.”! Ho! Praise The Lord!! God Wants His Joy, that Power that Gives me Supernatural Strength and ability to look beyond my circumstances: that Joy that Gives me resilience to go through my trials and my troubles: that Joy that will Sustain the very marrow of my bones: that Will Give me Life, and Life more abundantly… God Wants that Joy to remain in me… Hallelujah! And He Said that the way It can remain in me is by… “These things I have Spoken unto you…” … by reading His Word. By reading His Word… by reading His Word. As I read His Word and study His Word I’m filling myself up with that Precious Fuel… it’s going to take this rocket and lead me to the direction that God can be Pleased. It’s that… it’s the very Force Of God that comes forth in The Word! The Word Produces Faith! The Word Produces Love. The Word Produces Joy! You see, God Wants me to be filled with His Joy. I must remain in His Presence, but I also must stay in His Word! ‘Well, I’m tired. I don’t feel like reading The Word. You know, I got to go bowling, I got to go golfing, I got to go to the ladies and have coffee…’  Friends… this is the key to success! He Says it… “These things have I Spoken unto you…” you personally… “that My Joy might remain in you, and that your joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.” So not only does He Want to put His Joy in there, in but He Wants your joy to remain, He Wants to combine it together and He Wants you to be able to walk 24/7, 365 1/4 days a year, in the very powerful force of Joy. And to be able to overcome every adversity that the devil places your way. You see, you don’t see yourself, or at least you really haven’t had the full Revelation of this… that God Has Created you to be successful, and there is absolutely no reason in heaven and on earth and even under the earth why any one of us should ever experience failure in any area of our Lives! The only reason we experience failure is because we do not put what is laid out very clearly here in the Scriptures into Reality in our Lives! We need to face the Truth about that. But if you’ll stay in The Word, and discipline yourself … and when those circumstances come and the devil’s trying to steal your Joy… begin to rejoice and praise God, you will find the Fullness of Joy, and you’ll pinch yourself, and say… ‘How come I’m not concerned… how come I’m not worried… am I alive? Did I to go to heaven?’ There’ll be a Force inside you, and people will see. “Something’s wrong with this guy… He has Something that I want!”
I’ll tell you what… I’ll let you look it up. It has to do with about The Kingdom Of God. Where it says that The Kingdom Of God is not food, or drink… but it is the very Power of Joy that comes in through The HOLY SPIRIT. In other words, as we continue to be Filled with The HOLY SPIRIT… (and that word ‘Filled’, by the way, means to be Controlled, means to be Directed, and Guided by The HOLY SPIRIT.) As we are Filled, Controlled, Directed, Guided by The HOLY SPIRIT… then His Joy will fill us! You see, The HOLY SPIRIT will take the Word of God and Illuminate it, and Cause it to become rhema inside of us. And then He also Wants to come inside of us, and to Guide us… and to Control us. You can let anger control you. You can let fear control you. You can let lust and perversion control you. You can let, you know, this hunger after things, money, and fame control you. But God Says ‘I Want My HOLY SPIRIT to Control you!!!’ And if you are Controlled by yielding yourself to His Presence, and His Direction… then your Joy will be Filled. That is The Kingdom Of God. That’s when you walk in His Authority and His Power! And so, we not only need to praise and rejoice God, and not only to read His Word… we also need to be yielding our Spirit on a daily basis… if not an hourly basis. And say… ‘HOLY SPIRIT… I just yield myself to You. I yield myself to You. Guide me… and Direct me.’ And as you do that, and give Him the reins of your Life… you’ll find The Joy Of The Lord….. Causing you to be victorious in every step of The Way.

I give praise and thanksgiving to GOD for Causing His Servant (Pastor Gaspar Anastasi) to edify His Body through this very wise and timely Word. Alleluia!!!  🙂 revrob

What is the Rhema Word of God?  Rhema—The Spoken Word.
The second primary Greek word that describes Scripture is rhema, which refers to a word that is spoken and means “an utterance.” A rhema is a verse or portion of Scripture that The Holy Spirit Brings to our attention with application to a current situation or need for direction.

A Force Called Joy (continued #9)

This is a message from a Pastor on Long Island, N.Y.                                                                   An audio version of it may be found here:

Here in Psalm 16 verse 11. We’re talking about now having Joy protectors and how to be filled with The Joy Of The Lord! Not just a human natural joy… The Joy Of The Lord! “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy;…” Now how do I have the fullness of Joy by doing what? Staying in the presence of The Lord. Now here’s the financial pressure. It’s come to steal your Joy. You recognize it from a Spiritual standpoint now, because you’re a Christian: and you no longer look just on one plane, you’re able to get into the Spirit realm and the physical realm at the same time, and you understand the attack. And yes it’s real! These pictures are being painted… and so you know that The Joy Of The Lord is going to protect your Faith. So what do you do? You want to stay in The Presence Of God. So what do you do? You begin to praise The Lord! As I praise God in the midst of a horrible situation, where does God come? In my presence! As I’m praising God and rejoicing forever more, in the midst of those circumstances… then God’s Presence Comes, and as I bathe myself in The Presence of God, what happens is that The Joy begins to Strengthen me on the inside. And so I might start off with “Praise You Lord”… Oh God, Praise You… my Lord, I rejoice… : to “Lord I Praise You, Glory to God, I know the devil’s under my feet… and I’m more than a conqueror In You, no matter what it looks like, I know I’ve overcome In Jesus”! It might start off with a sorry laugh, bit it’s going to wind up with a Powerful Force on the inside of you! Joy builds up!!
You see… The Presence Of God is the key here. And you and I have the ability to bring The Presence Of God, not only on the inside of us, but around us in any circumstance. As I rejoice and Praise, and notice it says here… “Thou will show me the path of light. In Thy Presence is the fullness of Joy.” And I can have The Presence Of God any time I want. And one of the quickest and fastest, and most sure ways, is when I’m under attack, knowing that he’s come to steal my Joy… my Joy… the one that God Gave me… that I can protect that and Be Filled with more Joy, is instantly Praise Him and rejoice.
Now, of course, if you’re too smug and, you know, too prideful, and you don’t want to let anybody to know that you’re a Christian… will go ahead and let the devil steal your Joy. Before you know it, your Faith won’t be there, and then you’ll just be going to church in a religious way, nothing will be happening to you… just you don’t dare blame God… because God Has Equipped you to succeed in everything, and everywhere you go.
St. John, Chapter 15. Another way to get our Joy Filled… St. John chapter 15. And we’ll look at verse 11. St. John Chapter 15 verse 11. “These things have I Spoken unto you…”… don’t read any more. “These things have I Spoken unto you…” Jesus Is Speaking here. Jesus Is Speaking here. And when He Says “These things have I Spoken unto you…”, what you think He’s Referring to? He’s Referring to His Word. Okay ‘these things’… His Word: He’s Referring to His Word, okay? So when you see that in the beginning “These things have I Spoken unto you…”, He’s Referring to His Word. Now… have we heard God Speak to us? The answer is ‘yes’. Here it is in this Bible. I have God Speaking to me right here! You can pick up this Bible say “These things have I Spoken unto you…”, these are the things that God Has Spoken unto me. This is His Word. This is His Voice. Out here… (referring to The Bible in his hand*). I want to get it in here…  (referring to his heart*)

To be continued… revrob*  🙂
